Objectif : En Posturologie, peu d’études prennent en compte l’effet des membranes de tensions réciproques (MTR) sur l’équilibre.Le but de notre étude était de voir si une équilibration de ces MTR, par le biais de la technique de Pan Dura, pouvait avoir une répercussion sur la posture du patient.Méthodes : Cette étude a été menée au sein de l’Ecole Supérieure d’Ostéopathie. Les patients ont été choisis au hasard parmi les étudiants de l’école ainsi que des personnes extérieurs (102 sujets dont 70 femmes et 32 hommes). Ils ont été répartis en 50-50 selon deux groupes A (traité par Pan Dura) et B (Traitement simulé) suivant une randomisation. Le moyen d’objectivation était la plateforme Sabots Techno Concepts ®. L’ensemble des variables prises en compte par le logiciel Posturwin 4 ® a été étudié avant traitement (T0) et après traitement (T1).Résultats : L’analyse statistique nous a montré qu’il existe des différences significatives entre T0 et T1. Les patients se normalisent sur un axe médio-latéral (Xm T0 = 3,8 ; T1= 2,4) et diminuent leurs déplacements antéro-postérieurs (LY T0 = 447,2 ; T1= 409,2) . De plus la réaction des muscles antigravitaires leur permet de mieux répondre aux effets de la gravité (VFY T0 = -0,1 ; T1= -1,0).Conclusion : Les résultats de cette étude montrent qu’il existe bien une modification de la posture lors de l’équilibration des MTR bien qu’il serait utile de vérifier cet effet à plus long terme.

Résumé en anglais : Objective: In Posturologie, few studies take into account the effect of reciprocal tension membranes (MTR) on balance. The aim of our study was to see if a balancing of these MTR, through the technique of Pan Dura, could have an impact on the patient's posture.

Methods: This study was conducted within the School of Osteopathy. Patients were randomly selected among the students of the school as well as external people (102 subjects including 70 women and 32 men). They were divided into two groups according 50-50 A (treated with Dura Pan) and B (simulated treatment) following randomization. The average was objectification Platform Sabots Techno Concepts ®. All the variables taken into account by the Posturwin ® 4 software has been studied before treatment (T0) and after treatment (T1).

Results: Statistical analysis showed us that there are significant differences between T0 and T1. Patients normalize a medio-lateral axis (Xm T0 = 3.8; T1 = 2.4) and decrease their anteroposterior displacement (LY T0 = 447.2; T1 = 409.2). Also the reaction of the
antigravity muscles allows them to better respond to the effects of gravity (VFY T0 = -0.1; T1 = -1.0).

Conclusion: The results of this study show that there is a change in the posture during the equilibration of MTR although it would be worth checking this longer-term effect.
